I looked up rhymes and lyrics for April showers and this is what I found. It's all in the public domain so I thought it was worth posting. It was introduced by Al Jolson in 1921 in the musical Bombo. I always liked listening to Jolson whenever Dad would have jazz on the radio. Life is not a highway strewn with flowers, Still it holds a goodly share of bliss; When the sun gives way to April showers, Here's the point that you should never miss.
