                                  This time of the year makes me think of when I taught school and how eager            the children are to meet their new teacher and get to know their classmates. I                  grew up in Minneapolis where my graduating class was approximately 700-          800 students. It  was my grade school friends that meant the most because of the           class size. As time went by and I started in the classroom, I always felt as if the youngest of our students weren’t learning enough about our nation’s first ladies.
